VIDEO: Volkswagen Passat CC
Volkswagen unveiled its first four-door coupe, the Passat CC, at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. The vehicle features the ACC Automatic Distance Control, which, when activated, allows the Passat CC to automatically brake and accelerate within a speed range input by the car driver beforehand. Thanks to “Front Assist”, the system also avoids frontal collisions, using a radar sensor to monitor the distance to the vehicle ahead of the Passat CC. The Park Assist parking assistant, guides the Passat CC into a parking space at the push of a button. The vehicle is also the first in the world to feature the Lane Assist lane keeping system and Dynamic Drive Control electronic stability control system. Video available includes shots from the unveiling and from the press conference at the Detroit Auto Show.
