Global automakers are beginning to show their cards, confirming plans for worldwide introductions of several significant production models and innovative concept cars at NAIAS 2007 in January.

Each year, NAIAS targets at least 50 introductions, and the 2007 show is on track for at least that many, with some automakers still keeping their plans secret. More importantly, vehicles planned for unveiling at the January show are extremely significant ones. Some are new bread- and-butter models for the automakers. Others are critical re-makes of already successful models on the market. Still more hint at automakers' future directions for design and technology.

Here are the latest announcements of vehicle introductions planned for NAIAS 2007. More intros are planned but have not been announced by the auto manufacturers.
