At the Essen Motor Show on December 1   10, around 40 world, European and German premieres will be displayed by automobile manufacturers, tuners and automobile designers. In this respect, attention should focus on the world premiere of the VW Passat R 36 as well as on the European premieres of the Audi TT roadster and of a new design study by Giugiaro. Both the latter innovations will give their European premiere in Essen just fifteen hours after their world premiere in Los Angeles.

The automobile manufacturers which have announed German premieres include not only Audi and VW but also Daihatsu (Materia), Ford (S MAX Individual), Nissan (Qashqai), Seat (Altea XL), Skoda (Octavia 4x4 Scout), Subaru (Impreza special model) and Suzuki (Swift Sport). As far as the tuners are concerned, Abt (Audi TT R) and Lumma (CLR 600/BMW M6), amongst others, will offer world premieres. Moreover, it will be possible to see additional world premieres (e.g. with regard to the wheel rims) in the tuning section. A large number of new products will also be shown in the tyres, car styling and chassis and engine tuning sections.
