German tuner Lorinser presented the ultimate version of Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG at Highspeedevent 2007 in Nardo, Southern Italy. “Nardo3” will be produced in only 50 copies. During tests at Nardo the car achieved top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph).
It was only 10th result, but the “Nardo3” SL is not simply a car built for straight-line performance - it is “a racing car for the road” which brings ambience as much to the forefront of the concept as it does racing-bred performance thrills.
Besides a comfortable atmosphere inside, Lorinser also made a great work with V12 biturbo engine. Lorinser “Nardo3” produces 660 hp/485 kW and maximum torque of 1013 Nm - on a par with a medium-sized truck.
